Hello dear parents,
My name is Ece, and I am from Germany. I studied Secondary School Teaching, specialising in English and Philosophy, and completed my First State Examination. I currently work as a secondary school teacher, teaching students up to the age of 17. In addition, I have been working closely and regularly as a nanny for two families for over three years.
In one family, I currently care for a 2-year-old child, while in the other I look after two children aged 3 and 8. Both childcare arrangements are ongoing, allowing me to build long-term relationships with the children and support them in their everyday lives and development.
As a nanny, I have experience caring for babies from approximately 3 months old. Through my work as a teacher, I am also familiar with the individual needs of school-aged children and teenagers and can support them both academically and personally.
For me, working with children and young people is about more than childcare and teaching. It is about building a trusting relationship, providing a sense of security and at the same time giving children the space to develop their curiosity, independence and individuality.
My Approach to Childcare
It is particularly important to me that children feel safe, comfortable, understood and valued in my care. I approach them with patience, warmth and attentiveness while also believing in clear, loving boundaries and respectful communication.
Depending on their age and personality, I enjoy spending time with children through play, reading, creative activities, sports and movement, excursions, museum and cultural visits, learning together or age-appropriate educational activities.
I always adapt my care to each child’s individual interests, needs and stage of development.
My Experience as a Teacher
Through my studies and professional experience as a teacher, I have learned to recognise different personalities and individual needs and to respond to them accordingly.
My professional responsibilities include teaching, structuring and supporting learning processes, as well as motivating and individually supporting my students. Even in challenging situations, I remain calm, patient and solution-oriented.
This experience is particularly valuable when working with school-aged children and teenagers – for example, when providing homework support, learning assistance or helping them prepare for academic challenges.
Bilingual & International
I grew up bilingual in German and Turkish and also speak fluent English. In addition, I have knowledge of Spanish.
I consider my multilingual and multicultural background a great asset. I would especially enjoy supporting an international family where different languages and cultures are naturally part of everyday family life.
I would be very happy to introduce children to German or English naturally and playfully through their everyday routines.

I would like to continue my professional and personal journey internationally and see Dubai as an exciting place for the next chapter of my life.
I am therefore specifically looking for a long-term position in Dubai with a family where mutual trust, respect and professional cooperation are valued.
