A new position for an experienced private chef to be based in London, working for a private family of four (2 adults and two children).
The Hampstead home is the main residence for the family, and they have another house in Eastern Long Island, NY (the Hamptons), USA, where they usually spend the summer months.
They require a skilled professional who has previously worked as a chef.
Languages: Fluent English speaker and ideally a German speaker (the lady of the house speaks German)
Our clients enjoy fresh, light, and healthy cuisine with a Mediterranean focus.
The chef will be required to shop, provision, menu plan and produce breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
The family entertain on occasion, so there will be times when you are cooking for larger numbers, but generally you will cook for the family.
You will be responsible for the kitchen in its entirety, including the kitchen budget, equipment and cleanliness.
Candidates should be flexible with good time management and communication skills. The role is full-time, working 5-days per week, you will have 2 consecutive days off each week, but they will vary.
There will be some travel in the summer to the Hamptons, USA, so essential that you are flexible to travel.
Salary £75k gross depending on experience. Immediate start.
