Graduating from Lausanne Hotel Management School, I always have had this sense of service and communication. After a great experience in the hospitality industry, moving to a PA/Estate management position was a motivating challenge. After 12 years of experience with a fantastic HNWI and his close relations, the family office I work for has just closed. I was really enjoying my job and would like to find a similar position, on a long term commitment. I insist to be based in the French part of Switzerland, but will be ready to travel intensively.
I very much enjoyed to have a great variety of duties and responsibilities :
My aim was to insure that the principle’s life was as carefree as possible ensuring the constancy and continuity of services and standards according to the Family’s precise requirements. I had a fantastic team (butlers, chauffeurs, housekeepers, gardeners, cooks, local secretaries,…) who were extremely dedicated to the Family. Except the day-to-day running, I had to manage regular events.
I had to supervise the overall staff in all properties including recruitment, payroll management (with local trustee’s help) and performance reviews. Especially during the high season, I had to insure efficiency, harmony and moral encouragement to the employees who were around the Family.
Traveling regularly, I interviewed and supervised third party suppliers, contractors, service providers and then taking full ownership for their delivery and performance. I personally supervised carefully all costs.
To maintain the properties in good shape, I had to follow real estates’ projects (renovation, transformation, construction) and organising preventative maintenance. Among the 20 properties I was in charge of, I had been in charge of the whole procedure to sell 3 of them.
A very interesting responsibility was the management of the fantastic work art collection and valuables furniture. Contact with museums, storages and Auctions organisations were part of my duties.
Boats and vehicles were definitively very important to look after and manage carefully all costs.
It was a must to keep the Principle informed and insure a regular interaction with him to maintain the link between the Family, employees and third parties.
The Family’s Asset manager involved me in many financial issues. I was managing important bank accounts worldwide and creating financing structures. To face this new issue to me, I obtained an Asset assistant manager diploma. Thanks to this knowledge, I was director of 13 companies worldwide and responsible of an important insurance portfolio.
I am an energetic professional PA/Real estate manager, proactive and very flexible. I don’t need to have all this variety and responsibility in my future job, but this is just to demonstrate I am multi-skilled and a trustful, dedicated employee.
I remain at your disposal for any further information and look forward to meeting with you.
