A lovely family based at a luxury private resort community in Hawaii called Kukio in Kailua-Kona Area (the Big Island) is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and proactive Nanny to look after their two children, a daughter who is 2.5 years old and a son who is 9 months old.
They are both very “easy” kids and they consider themselves to be pretty laid back people.
The ideal candidate would be willing to care for both children, do light housework, laundry, organizing, and miscellaneous errands/personal tasks as needed. The nanny must be willing to work some nights and weekends, and be willing to travel on occasion.
Experience with children of a similar age is essential.
Duties to include:
- Sole charge of two children (2.5 year old and 9 months old)
- Assist Mum with the morning routine
- Children’s laundry
- Driving, nursery pick ups
- Child development
- Helping with homework
- Monitor milestones
- Arts and crafts
- Plan fun and age-appropriate activities
- Cooking healthy and nutritious meals
- Keep the children active
- Occasional travel, spend 2-3 months in WA State in the summer.
- Driving is essential
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys a varied role. We are looking for someone who is flexible, willing, and genuinely wants to be a nanny. Furthermore, the nanny should be a confident swimmer and a non-smoker.
They prefer someone who is “laid back” and has a nice personality, but also doesn’t talk too much outside of the work tasks. Our client wants someone who is very professional and puts the job responsibilities first.
Working week: About 40 hours per week, including some nights and weekends.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:

- Auto provided
- Rate: $40+ per hour DOE
