Our client, a married male couple in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, is looking for an experienced housekeeper.
The property is a seven bedroom villa in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria.
In addition, our client owns a 3 bedroom apartment for guests in Playa del Inglés, Gran Canaria.
We are looking for an experienced housekeeper who will take care of the two properties and the dog, a loveable little pug.
The couple is looking for a cheerful, professionally trained, hardworking, discreet and very flexible person with several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) as a housekeeper in upscale private households.
The guest apartment in Playa del Inglés should be cleaned as required.
Taking care of the dog, a very friendly little pug plays an important role which is why being a dog lover is imperative.
The housekeeper is responsible for the dog food, walks with the pug, visits to the vet and regular cleaning.
The housekeeper should be very familiar with the usual housekeeping activities such as cleaning and tidying up, wiping wooden floors, cleaning windows, receiving deliveries, preparing tasty meals, washing and ironing, stock keeping and household purchases, household organization, laundry care, ironing etc… .
Both travel a lot, individually and together, and there will be times when both of them are not in Gran Canaria.
At these times, the working hours will be considerably shorter, even though the full salary is paid.
A fully furnished bedroom with own private bathroom will be provided at the estate in Maspalomas.
This is a full-time position with 38 to 40 hours per week.
Our client would like to fill this position in Gran Canaria on a long-term basis.
Flexibility is very important, as the schedules can often change at short notice.

Ideally, you should be able to speak Spanish and English.
