For our discerning client, we are seeking a highly educated, cultured, and empathetic Lady Companion in the classical sense. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide companionship, engage in stimulating conversation, accompany the principal on walks, read aloud, and enrich daily life through presence, intellectual exchange, and cultural interest.
We are looking for a poised and elegant personality who brings warmth, discretion, and refinement, offering meaningful companionship and enriching the principal’s everyday routine. Excellent German and English language skills are essential.
Role Overview:
You will serve as a trusted conversational partner, accompany the principal to cultural and social engagements, and provide reliable support in daily life. You will feel confident in refined social settings, demonstrate natural elegance, and possess excellent judgement, discretion, and situational awareness.
Candidate Profile:
• Strong academic background, ideally with interests in business, culture, politics, or science
• Several years of experience in comparable positions or working with high-profile individuals
• Basic medical knowledge is advantageous to ensure attentive and responsible day-to-day support
• Impeccable personal presentation, strong sense of style, and a gracious, confident personality
• Articulate, tactful, humorous, and emotionally intelligent
• Absolute loyalty and discretion
• Willingness to travel with the principal
Key Details & Conditions:
• Location: North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany
• Approx. 32 hours per week
• Working hours primarily in the afternoon and evening (approx. 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm), including occasional weekends
• Frequent travel
• The household is supported by a permanent professional team (House Manager / Housekeeper, cleaning staff, gardener, security personnel)
