BUTLER FOR YOU® is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced House Manager / Nanny for a private family with four children in beautiful Gavà Mar, near Barcelona.
Candidates currently based in the UK or elsewhere in Europe are strongly encouraged to apply. The family offers comprehensive relocation assistance and, for an outstanding candidate moving to Barcelona, is prepared to provide or fund suitable accommodation close to the family residence. The family will actively support the relocation process to make the move to Spain as smooth as possible.
This is a permanent, long-term hybrid position, approximately 50% House Manager and 50% Nanny. The family already employs housekeepers and nannies, and the successful candidate will help coordinate the established household team while providing warm, capable and age-appropriate childcare alongside the mother and other carers.
Key responsibilities include supervising domestic staff, managing schedules and household systems, coordinating maintenance, suppliers and inventories, organising the children’s clothing and belongings, supporting school and activity schedules, family travel and daily routines, and ensuring the home remains calm, organised and fully operational.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience within high-standard private family households, ideally combining household management and hands-on childcare. Experience with neurodiverse children, including Level 1 autism and ADHD, is highly desirable. Candidates must be exceptionally organised, discreet, proactive, flexible and confident managing staff.
Fluent English is essential; Spanish and/or Catalan would be a significant advantage. A driving licence is preferred. Excellent references and a non-smoking lifestyle are required.
