An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and professional German–speaking nanny to join a distinguished international family, based between Los Angeles and New York City.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and development of a 16-month-old girl, ensuring a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment in line with the highest childcare standards.
Key Details:
• Location: Los Angeles and New York (travel between residences required)
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Hours: 48+ guaranteed hours per week
Compensation: $140,000 – $180,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
• Healthcare stipend
• Annual salary reviews and increases, annual discretionary bonus, and a long-term incentive bonus (for a multi-year commitment preferred)
Accommodation: At the main residence in Los Angeles, the position is live-out; however, the family is open to supporting housing arrangements for the right candidate. Accommodation will be provided at the second residence in New York City.
Driver: Required – family car provided
Responsibilities include:
• Providing attentive, development-focused care
• Supporting early childhood milestones and structured routines
• Preparing healthy meals for the child
• Managing nursery duties to an impeccable standard
• Travelling with the family as required
Requirements:
• Fluency in both German and English (essential)
• Native German speaker strongly preferred
• Prior professional nanny experience with toddlers is essential
• Legally authorised to work in the United States (essential)
• Based locally in the Los Angeles area preferred
• Seeking a long-term role and commitment preferred
• Valid driver’s licence and confident driving ability
• Proven experience in high-profile or private household settings
• Excellent, verifiable references from previous families
• Warm, discreet, and highly professional demeanour
• Flexible and adaptable with a strong work ethic
