We are looking for a domestic couple (housekeeper/cook) for a manor house near Lyon, France.
This will be a full time position, a two bedroom apartment as well as a car will be provided.
The Château is mainly used as a summer residence by the owner and his adult children and their families.
The owner has several residences and spends only a few days per month in this residence,
his adult children and their families will visit occasionally during school holidays or long weekends.
The couple should be comfortable to spend a lot of time on their own.
The couple will be expected to provide impeccable service, housekeeping, cooking, keeping the premises and garden in excellent condition
A lot of the time the couple will be on their own.
Occasionally they will be expected to help out for a week or two in the owner’s main residence in Gstaad, Switzerland.
The owner is French and fluent in English. However, for practical purposes (shopping, contact with local maintenance companies) a basic knowledge of French would be useful.
Size of Residence: a manor house with 10 rooms
Accommodation for domestic couple: a 2 bedroom apartment is provided in an annexe building
Discretion and confidentiality will be of the utmost importance to the owner.
