We are seeking to hire a chauffeur on a full time basis to work for a major corporation in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
Our clients business life revolves around being a company director for a major corporation.
Role is for driving the principle and board colleagues to and from business meeting in London and South East with occasional airport transfers.
Ideally the right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years chauffeur experience.
However candidates with less experience but related current or past roles will definitely be considered – eg ex- services, HM forces and Emergency services personnel(eg.we will consider experienced ambulance drivers with a good service record).
It would be helpful if the candidate has passed an advanced driving course ,eg ROSPA or IAM , but not essential as further training will be given where required and if possible they are presently working in a chauffeur role which keeps them familiar with London and the South East and airport transfer driving conditions , although SatNav will be provided.
What our client is looking for in a candidate is not so much taxi driver style ‘knowledge’ of roads but much more how to handle stressful driving situations calmly particularly in Central London.
Hours are 9am to 5pm with over time paid at time and a half.
Salary is £22500 a year with 10% bonus on top with additional private healthcare and life assurance benefits. Car will be provided – company: Mercedes
Uniform and clothing allowance.
For security all candidates will need to provide full proof of identification and proof of address ,i.e. Passport plus driving licence and with a utility bill also (must be no less than 3 months old).
Driving licence must have no points whatsoever and candidates must have no convictions of any description as full reference and background checks will be made.
It is envisaged that the candidate will start as soon as possible.
