Key duties and responsibilities: General housekeeping duties, (cleaning, making beds, washing, ironing, packing, gardening, including shopping for provisions). Occasional cooking, drive and clean cars, maintenance of Villa and to supervise and encourage the two staff (Guardians) at the French Villa, helping where necessary.
Size of Residence: Small Villa 4 Bedrooms, 4 B/rooms, Day room, kitchen and TV room plus terrace in Monaco and a Villa in France which has two full time employees
Other staff employed: 2 other Staff employed at the French Villa, who need encouragement and control.
Live out – Apartment provided in France (approx. 50 sq. M) +/- 10 mins walk from Villa in Monaco.
Hours per week: 8 hours, timing by negotiation – 5 days flexible

– Must have previous experience working as a butler
– Excellent housekeeping and cooking skills.
– Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
– Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Our client in Monaco is looking for a candidate who is professional, well presented, clean, neat and tidy, not too intrusive, reasonably fit, not afraid of physical work, no ‘hang-ups’ who smiles and understands the need for confidentiality. Someone who is trustworthy with excellent references, willing and prepared to take on other duties where and when necessary.
You should be able to manage and account for household expenses. Practical, knows how to use a screwdriver, can use a Mac, knows how to organise. A person who cares about what they do, treats it as a profession and not just a job, who is precise, house-proud, enjoys a garden and has basic first aid.
This is a full-on role, generally looking after all the needs of the principle.
