I was born in Reading, Berkshire and raised in Dorset on the south west coast of England. When I left college I joined The Royal Air Force and worked in the area of security for the military police.
After leaving the armed services I went to work in the hotel industry as a manager and gained many new skills. In 2001 I decided to take a professional course at The Guild of Professional English Butlers, and I am now a proud member of this organisation.
During my time as a professional Butler I have worked in many countries including USA, Italy, Russia and Spain looking after HM Queen of England, Princes, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Billionaires and Captains of industries.

How I see the role of the Butler
The butler is a key element in a team of professionals striving to deliver a level of personalized service that exceeds not only the expectation of the client but will add his personal attributes to enhance the service provided within the private residence or hotel.
The position of Butler provides a very personal and detailed service to all the guests. A Butler will take care of guests needs in a highly professional manner and I personally would go further to ensure that all the guests needs are fully catered for what ever the time of day or night.
I as the Butler will take gentle care of all guests from arrival until departure without imposing myself on the guest. The butler will be seen by the guests in response to all the guests needs and requests.
As a professional Butler I will not accept anything less then the best available presentation of the suites and public areas of the floors.
I have trained many staff in the skills of being a professional Butler both in England and Russia and more recently in Shanghai and Beijing, China.
I would very much like to work within the private or hotel industry because I have a vast knowledge to pass on to suitable men and women who wish to learn the traditional English butler skills and then look after their guests to the same high standards.
